Stéphane Marguerite
Born in Laval (France), it's there that my passion for the boomerang has began. It was in 1981 during a demonstration organised by the boomerang association of my hometown.
My uncle , who was a member of the club, introduced me to the activity. After few unsuccessful throws, my boomerang came back to me. Like most children of my age, I had heard about boomerangs, so naturally, I made my first one in school. Because my quick success in the conception and manipulation of the objet, I've been rapidly able to take part to high level competitions. My first participation to a competition happened in 1984 and since then I've been competing in several international events in Europe, the United States and in the Pacific. I was the captain of the national French team and recently of the Canadian team. My situation gave me the opportunity to throw in every world cup since it's creation in 1988.
